Congratulation James and Michelle!
This is a new format for sharing our couples weddings.  When possible, we want to share their perspective of their special day, so we have asked them a series of questions.  This is what Michelle and James had to share.

  1. Names, wedding date, location:   James & Michelle Pittman, Oct. 15, 2011, Beck Chapel & Bloomington Country Club (Bloomington, IN)
  1. Describe your wedding style: Traditional
  1. What was your favorite part of the day, or detail that made you the most happy:

(Michelle) – The first time we were announced as Mr. & Mrs. James Pittman to friends and family.  Everything came together perfectly, it was such a wonderful day.

(James) – seeing the people we entrusted with our dream take it just as seriously as we did.

  1. Is there anything you would have done different:   Not a thing
  1. Do you have any advice for future couples:   Enjoy the planning process, it is so fantastic to see everything you worked at for so long come together on that day.  Also, ENJOY the day, everyone told us it would go by so fast, but it went even faster than we could have imagined.  Take some time just the two of you to reflect and to appreciate everything you worked so hard for.
  1. If you would like to include the professionals that you worked with, we would love to share:

Cathy Teeters (planning and flowers…I LOVED our flowers and so has everyone that has seen pictures.  And an amazing planner/organizer, made our day stress free J

Lisa Walker Photography – simply amazing at what she does (an unbelievable way of capturing peoples emotions)

Brent Mann Videography – so wonderful to work with, especially stepping in at the last minute, and a great end product that everyone loves.

Amanda Miller & Bloomington Country Club – easy to work with and very accommodating, gorgeous venue

Frequency (Band) – fun group, great music and got everyone dancing

Rex Jones - pastor

MarDon Salon – hair and make up

  1. Did you have any favorite websites or resources that were especially helpful:   Theknot.com (the task list/time-line)
  1. Anything else that you would like to share:  The vendors we used (especially Cathy) made it so easy to plan a wedding from out of town.

Thank you James and Michelle for sharing.  You were such a pleasure to work with.
